On Saturday, March 28, 2026, Texas Rainbow Fund (TxRF) will be tabling at No Kings 3 at Houston City Hall. We are looking for volunteers to help staff our table, talk with attendees about our mission, and help people sign up to stay involved.

TxRF is a 501(c)(4) social welfare organization and political action committee working to advance LGBTQ+ equality across Texas through advocacy, microgrants, and strategic partnerships that build safer, more inclusive public spaces and streets. This tabling event is one of our first major public outreach moments, and we want to show up strong.

Event details

• Event: No Kings 3 (Houston City Hall)
• Date: Saturday, March 28, 2026
• Volunteer arrival: Please be prepared for an early arrival (9:00 AM) if you are helping with setup, since parking and access can get difficult as crowds grow.

Volunteer shifts (we need booth buddies)

We are trying to staff each shift with at least two people so nobody is stuck solo, and we can cover bathroom breaks and crowd surges.

• 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM (need 2 more)
• 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM (need 2 more)
• 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM (need 2 more)
• 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM (need 2 more)

What volunteers will do

• Help set up and keep the table running smoothly
• Talk with people about TxRF and what we are building
• Help people sign up for updates and ways to volunteer
• Direct folks to ways to support (including donations)

What to bring (if you have it)

If you have any of the following, it helps. Do not worry if you do not.

• Water and snacks for yourself
• Sunscreen
• Comfortable shoes
• A friendly, steady vibe for a big crowd
